In all honesty... It's not often that I buy photo books. I look through them in the bookshop, and then find so much fault with the noise in the images, or movement, etc, etc (or maybe I'm just jealous. Who can say?) I have bought one or two books that specializes in certain techniques, like shooting Show-jumping or golf. Something where I would really like to learn some new skills, and the author has the skill to explain in a way I can understand, how they get the shots.

No matter how good your lenses are, or what brilliant equipment you have, under certain conditions, you will always get a certain amount of chromatic aberation on highlighted areas. Better equipment definitely removes a lot of CA from your images, but there is only so much it can do.
